About You

Tears will trickle, laughter will be loud, and your ceremony will be an entertaining, evocative and enriching experience for all.

You want to tell your story, your way.

If you want to create a wedding ceremony which tells your love story, represents your personalities and reflects your values, look no further than a humanist ceremony. My job is to get to know you and your journey all the way from first date to wedding day. From serendipitous meet-cutes to embarrassing first meetings with the parents, your love story will be carefully and cleverly woven by me. I will paint a picture of the journey that brings you to marriage, while capturing your hopes, visions and aspirations for your future path thenceforth. Tears will trickle, laughter will be loud, and your ceremony will be an entertaining, evocative and enriching experience for all.

You want to play with tradition (or break free of it entirely).

You want to play with tradition (or break free of it entirely).

Humanist weddings are completely bespoke, giving you the wedding ceremony you want. Traditions and expectations can be woven in, adapted or completely set aside if you’d like. You may like to include sing-a-longs and funny readings; you may want to incorporate a ring exchange or another symbolic gesture; you may wish to have your children play key roles. Whatever it is, we can do it.

You want a connection with someone who has warmth, humour and a way with words.

You need to be a bit Goldilocks about finding a celebrant- book the one who feels right for you. You’ll be embarking on a journey with them, potentially from the initial stages of wedding planning until the big day itself. If you think I’m the right fit for you then I will provide my attention and care from the very early stages of the process; I’ll get to know you both and take time to develop a strong understanding of your values, your humour and the vibe you want for your big day so I can craft an unforgettable ceremony which gets it just right.
